I develop statistical methods for monitoring processes over time, from profile monitoring and control charts to robust semiparametric models, and apply them to public health, medicine, education and industry.
I have been at Qatar University since 2013, where I also coordinated the Statistics B.S. and M.S. programs, led the Statistical Consulting Unit and headed the Student Data Management Section. Before that I modelled economic capital and credit risk as an Assistant Vice President at JPMorgan Chase & Co. in Ohio, after a Ph.D. in Statistics at Virginia Tech.
